Hey, I'm Christy.
I'm an actor, singer and the Executive Director of The Sappho Project, a new musical theatre advocacy company for women and tgnc composers, lyricists, and book writers.
Some of my performing highlights include singing with the Boston Pops (an original mash-up of "Bring Me To Light/On My Way" from Violet, which was orchestrated by Joseph Joubert for the event) and performing in the off-Broadway revival of Fiorello! (New York Times Critics Pick).
In NYC, I study acting with Jen Waldman and voice with Chris York.
My dream project includes
& female characters with agency.
My dream collaboration includes
gender parity, needle-moving ideas,
& lots of laughter!
I received a B.A. in Theatre Arts & Art History at Boston College. At BC, I was a Student Ambassadors to the McMullen Museum of Art (social media & events committees) and was awarded an Advanced Study Grant in the Arts to pursue supplemental actor training in NYC.
Passionate about creating and sharing purpose-driven art, I have experience in small-scale producing (short films, new work concerts), content creation (online video courses, music videos), Social Media Marketing (Rumble Boxing), and am a Community Captain at Jen Waldman Studio.
Some of my hobbies include making mezcal cocktails, collecting funky hats (and then wearing them in public and embarrassing my friends, sorry guys!), HIIT workouts and noodling on my electric guitar.
